UNCOOPERATIVE!!! I approached this gentleman politely to ask if I could photograph a beautifull fall that's right behind his place of business. The answer was a flat NO! I can't imagine buying anything from such a grouch.

I visited Bruno Fine Jewelers and it was a magical place. Nestled in a beautiful forest of local trees, overlooking a magnificent waterfall, the store is a true destination for locals and travelers. But it is also like going back in time, because the store has helped unearth an old iron furnace on the property, so you can imagine what iron smelting looked like in the 1800s. The owner has also restored the 1800s era Ironmasters House and holds art exhibitions there. It is truly all worth an afternoon. The goldsmiths at the store do beautiful work, and they have even had the slag from the iron furnace, which is a gorgeous blue-green glass-like substance, cut into gemstone shapes and set into affordable jewelry you can buy as a souvenir of your visit to western PA. What an experience!
